‘Battlestations’ game gets big, new sequel in development
The sequel to Battlestations: Battle for Booty, Battlestate: Rise of the Cobra, is going into production with a big bang.
Battlerite: Rise Of The Cobra will be published by Activision Blizzard and will be a two-player game.
It will have four-player co-op and online multiplayer, and will come out later this year.
The game is not expected to hit the Nintendo Switch, but the game is likely to be a follow-up to the original Battlestated, and the first game to be developed in the company’s new Unreal Engine 4.
There is no release date yet for the sequel, but it is expected to be released in the coming months.
The new Battlestantages is currently being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, who are known for their Unreal Engine titles like Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Rayman Legends.
